Every dog deserves to feel comfortable, warm and loved. But finding clothes that fit isn't always easy, especially when your dog has three legs, a limb that doesn't work as it should, or a body shape that doesn't fit standard sizing.
Tripawd Clothing UK began with Luna, one cold, shivering three-legged dog who needed a jumper that fitted her properly. Ordinary dog clothes weren't designed for her, so I set out to make something that was.
That simple beginning became a mission to help other dogs who struggle to find clothes that fit their individual needs.

Every dog is different, and sometimes their clothing needs to be different too. That's why I design and handmake clothing for three-legged dogs, including both front-leg and back-leg amputees, as well as dogs with a limb that no longer functions normally but cannot be amputated.
I also welcome enquiries about part-amputated dogs and other individual requirements. Whether your dog needs a different leg opening, a modified sleeve, a special fastening or an entirely new design, I'll do my best to find a practical solution. Not every idea will be possible, but I'll always consider your dog's needs and explore what might work.
Because sometimes, the right answer isn't another standard size. It's a garment designed around the dog wearing it.
From slender sighthounds to stocky Bulldogs
Our experience has grown beyond three-legged dogs. We also make clothing for four-legged dogs whose shapes can make ordinary shop-bought clothes difficult to fit.
Think of the deep chest and narrow waist of a Greyhound, the long back of a Lurcher, the elegant proportions of a Saluki or Whippet, or the broad chest and sturdy build of an English Bulldog. These dogs are wonderfully different, and their clothing should reflect that.
From long, lean sighthounds to compact, muscular Bulldogs, we pay attention to the proportions that matter: chest, back length, neck, leg placement and overall comfort.
Our aim is simple: clothing that fits your dog, rather than expecting your dog to fit the clothing.
A lifelong love of dogs
Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've always taken in stray dogs and felt that every dog deserves kindness, care, and a place where they belong.
To me, dogs aren't just pets. They're family. They have their own personalities, their own little habits and their own ways of telling us what they need. When one of them struggles to find something as simple as a comfortable jumper, I understand why their person keeps searching.
That's why I try to help every customer who gets in touch. I listen to their concerns, ask questions, and consider whether I can make something to suit their dog. Sometimes it means adapting an existing pattern; sometimes it means developing a new design from scratch.
I can't promise that every request will be achievable, but I can promise that I'll give it thought and do my best to help.
