Fleeces for 3-legged dogs — designed to actually fit
Most dog jumpers you can buy have either two sleeves or two leg holes. For a three-legged dog, that means one empty sleeve flapping, catching under their chest, or tripping them up while they walk.
That's why I decided to design my own bespoke fleece jumpers.
Every Tripawd fleece has 1 shoulder closed — specially cut for either a left or right front-leg amputee, leaving no empty, sagging hole. It sits flat and cosy over the amputation site, prevents rubbing, and lets your dog run and play freely without tangling.
All my fleeces are designed as a gentle pull-on version to make dressing effortless. They feature a warm, soft neck and elasticated hems tailored so your dog never trips while navigating on three legs. With soft seams that protect delicate scars, you simply slip the fleece over the head, guide the remaining leg through, and you are ready to go.
Our fleece fabrics provide warmth, breathability, and pure comfort:
- Double-layer anti-pill fleece — ultra-warm and soft for cold outdoor walks or draughty evenings
- Lightweight stretch fleece — breathable and flexible, ideal for indoor lounging and post-op recovery
- Water-repellent polar fleece — keeps morning damp and drizzle away while remaining machine washable
From vibrant brights to muted earthy tones, each fleece jumper is handmade to order in Redditch, UK, tailored for everything from tiny pups to sighthounds.
Simply let me know if your dog is missing their left or right leg when ordering, and I will craft it to fit seamlessly.
