The sleeve is only on the left leg; no opening on the right side.

Why is the elastic hem so important when learning to walk?
When a dog is learning to walk on 3 legs, a normal hem can flap, ride up, or get caught under their legs and cause them to stumble. The elasticated hem gently hugs the body, keeping the shirt snug and out of the way, so your girl can move, balance, and build confidence without the shirt getting in the way. It also helps prevent licking at stitches while staying comfortably in place.
