Right Leg Amputation - L-XL Sighthound Lined sweater Coat
Handmade fleece-lined jumper with a high snood neck, designed specifically for sighthounds who feel the cold.

This version is cut for right front-leg amputation - it has one sleeve on the dog's left side only. The right side is open and softly finished, so there is no empty sleeve to flap, rub or get in the way.
Perfect for greyhounds, whippets, lurchers, Italian greyhounds and other sighthounds who need extra warmth on walks.
Fabric & Fit Note:
Outer in soft cotton jersey, lined in cosy brown fleece. The cotton jersey has a natural give. This makes it tougher than all-fleece jumpers and it won't pill as quickly. Because it is a stable jersey, I cut the pattern slightly more generously around the chest and shoulders for comfort.
The chest is solid light blue as shown in the front photo, with a contrasting dark blue panel on the side / shoulder. The underbelly is cut slightly shorter for easy toileting and to stay cleaner on walks - much better for boy dogs.
Easy On / Easy Off
Asymmetrical design with a back zip that has a wind strip underneath to stop draughts. Especially designed for front leg amputations
How to put it on:
- Unzip fully and hold with the tall turtleneck at the top.
- Gently pull the snood over your dog's head. Fold it down a little if needed.
- Guide your dog's left front leg through the sleeve.
- Lift the open side up and over the right shoulder - it should lay flat across the chest and back.
- Zip up from bottom to top along the back.
Fit check: You should be able to fit two fingers comfortably under the neck and chest. The hem should sit just before the base of the tail. Your dog should be able to walk, sit and move freely.

Sizing - How to measure:
Measure from base of neck (where the collar sits) to base of tail. That's the length you need. If you are between sizes, please message me.
